Kleman Agbi from Ghana
Kleman is 7 weeks old and was born with Hydrocephalus – a build-up of fluid on her brain. The excess fluid puts pressure on the brain, which can damage it. Her parents are poor and could not afford the surgery needed to avoid damage to Kleman’s brain. She was referred to Willing and Abel and we agreed to arrange and pay for the surgery which she had last week. A shunt was implanted in her brain and this drains away the excess fluid. She is now in intensive care in Korle-Bu hospital in Accra, Ghana and over time her head size will decrease and the bones of the skull will come back to better alignment. Please pray for her recovery and support the work we do.
