Condition:  Heart valve disease from rheumatic fever.

Operation:  Moubarak had successful heart valve replacement surgery on 13th December 2012 at Shisong Hospital in southern Cameroon.

Current Needs: Moubarak is recovering extremely well. He is on anticoagulants, which he will likely have to take for the remainder of his life. Willing and Abel have provided a coagulo check machine and strips for him to monitor his blood thinness. He will need to do this on a weekly basis to avoid complications.
